Göç Zamani (2016 Turkish Drama)

Göç Zamanı follows Cennet (Vahide Perçin), a strong woman living in Mardin in southeast Turkey, where she is forced into an arranged marriage as Cemal’s second wife when she is a young girl. As a second wife, Cennet suffers the cruelty of the first wife Hanım (Tilbe Saran), who controls her husband and treats Cennet like a servant. When Cennet gives birth to twins, Hanım takes the baby boy Yemin for herself, leaving only the baby girl to Cennet. Yemin grows up unaware that Cennet is his real mother. Cennet later has three daughters: Zümrüt, Kiraz, and Güneş, whom she raises through hard work as a carpet weaver.
