Broken the Heart tells the story of a princess’s journey from victim to survivor, where after enduring palace torture and abuse for three years, she changes her identity and face to escape. The innocent princess Ban Ruo Shui is sent to Southern Jiang as a peace treaty, but her love story with Yu Wen Sheng, prince of Northern Jiang, seems doomed because his revenge and hatred may ruin everything despite how much he loves her.
