Appendage (2023)

Hannah is a talented but insecure fashion designer whose stress is intensified by a cruel boss, a cold mother, and growing doubts about her relationship and career. After feeling a painful pulsing in her side, Hannah develops a grotesque creature that emerges from her body. The Appendage feeds on her anxiety and self-hatred, while also inspiring her creatively. When Hannah discovers a support group for people with similar “vanishing twin” conditions, she learns that others are battling their own physical manifestations of buried fears. As the creature grows stronger and begins taking control of her life, Hannah must confront the emotions she has spent years suppressing.
