Barber (2023)

Val Barber is a struggling private investigator and former Garda officer in Dublin. He is hired by wealthy widow Lily Dunne to find her missing granddaughter, Sara, a young woman whose disappearance has received little attention from the authorities. As Barber follows the trail, he encounters frightened witnesses, corrupt police officers, powerful men, and a possible institutional cover-up. The investigation becomes increasingly personal as Barber’s own troubled past and family problems resurface, forcing him to decide how far he is willing to go for the truth.
