De Gaulle: Résistance (2026) – French

In June 1940, France falls to Nazi Germany and Marshal Pétain’s government signs an armistice. Refusing to accept surrender, General Charles de Gaulle escapes to London, where he attempts to convince Winston Churchill and the Allies that France’s fight is not over. With no army, official mandate, or guaranteed support, de Gaulle launches the Free French movement through radio broadcasts, political negotiations, and alliances across Britain, Africa, and occupied France. Resistance fighters, rebellious students, and determined soldiers gradually join his cause, while de Gaulle faces opposition from Churchill, Roosevelt, and Vichy officials. Antonin Baudry directs this French historical epic starring Simon Abkarian and Simon Russell Beale.
