Elemental (2023)

In Element City, fire, water, earth, and air residents live together, though they rarely mix. Ember Lumen, a fiery young woman preparing to inherit her immigrant parents’ family shop, struggles to control her temper and meet her father’s expectations. After accidentally damaging the city’s plumbing, she meets Wade Ripple, an emotional and easygoing water inspector who threatens to shut the shop down. As they investigate a dangerous leak spreading through Firetown, Ember and Wade form an unlikely friendship that becomes romantic. Their relationship challenges social divisions, family traditions, and Ember’s belief that she must sacrifice her dreams for her parents.
