Flora and Son (2023)

Flora, a single mother in Dublin, struggles to connect with her rebellious teenage son, Max, who is repeatedly getting into trouble. Hoping to give him a constructive hobby, she repairs a discarded acoustic guitar for him but Max rejects it because he is more interested in producing electronic and hip-hop music. Flora decides to learn the guitar herself through online lessons with Jeff, a failed musician living in Los Angeles. As Flora discovers her own creativity and develops a romantic connection with Jeff, she and Max gradually bond through music and begin repairing their difficult relationship.
