Poison (2023)

In British-ruled India, Englishman Harry Pope lies rigid in bed, convinced that a venomous krait is sleeping on his stomach. His associate, Timber Woods, summons Dr. Ganderbai, who tries several methods to remove the supposed snake without waking it. When Harry is finally freed, the doctor suggests that the snake may never have been there but Harry reacts with racist anger, revealing that his real poison is the prejudice and arrogance beneath his fear.
