Reptile (2023)

Detective Tom Nichols investigates the brutal murder of Summer Elswick, a real estate agent found stabbed to death inside a house she was preparing to sell. Her boyfriend, Will Grady, discovers the body and initially becomes the main focus of suspicion, but the investigation leads Tom toward Summer’s ex-husband, a troubled recluse, and powerful figures in the local real estate and police communities. As new evidence emerges, Tom uncovers a conspiracy involving drug-money laundering, property seizures, and corruption. The case forces him to question his colleagues, his marriage, and the entire respectable world he has entered.
