Sky Defenders (2026)

Sky Defenders (2026) is an Australian military documentary about NASAMS (National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System), one of the world’s leading air-defence systems. It follows the soldiers, engineers, radar operators, missile crews, and defence specialists who detect, identify, and intercept missiles, drones, and aircraft. Filmed across Norway, Poland, Spain, Australia, and Ukraine, the documentary traces NASAMS from its origins and training exercises to frontline use in Ukraine. It shows how modern air defence protects cities, infrastructure, and troops during a war increasingly defined by drone and missile attacks.
