Strange River (2025) – Spanish

Sixteen-year-old Dídac joins his family on a cycling holiday along the Danube, travelling through Germany with his parents and younger brothers. During the journey, he encounters a mysterious boy who appears and disappears in the river, awakening unfamiliar feelings and stirring his first experience of romantic and sexual desire. As Dídac becomes increasingly distant from his family, his younger brother Biel notices the change, while their mother recognizes echoes of her own adolescent memories. Blending family tension, dreamlike imagery, and queer coming-of-age themes, this Catalan-language drama follows Dídac through a transformative summer of identity, attraction, and emotional independence.
