The Adults (2023)

Eric returns to his hometown intending to stay briefly, but reconnecting with his sisters, Rachel and Maggie, becomes more complicated than expected. While Maggie tries to revive their childhood bond through playful routines and shared memories, Eric becomes absorbed in proving himself at the local poker tables. His strained relationship with Rachel gradually exposes unresolved grief, resentment, and the emotional distance separating the siblings. As their childish games and private languages collide with adult responsibilities, the three must confront how much they have changed and how much of their past still controls them. Dustin Guy Defa’s comedy-drama stars Michael Cera, Hannah Gross, and Sophia Lillis.
