The Deputy (2026)

Toby is a part-time deputy working under Chief Krueger, an experienced sheriff who expects him to follow instructions and stay out of trouble. Toby is assigned to watch over a recently discovered body at a crime scene, but he becomes distracted and leaves his post. When he returns, the body is gone. The disappearance immediately places Toby under suspicion and forces him to launch an investigation before criminals, corrupt officials, or his own colleagues can make him the scapegoat.
