The Last Rifleman (2023)

Artie Crawford, a 92-year-old World War II veteran living in a care home in Northern Ireland, decides to escape and travel to France for the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Haunted by memories of the past and grieving the loss of his wife, Artie sets out on a courageous journey across the Irish Sea. Along the way, he forms unexpected friendships and reflects on his wartime experiences, discovering that it is never too late to honour fallen comrades and reclaim one’s sense of purpose.
