Tropic Thunder (2008)

Tropic Thunder (2008) is a satirical comedy about a group of self-absorbed Hollywood actors shooting an expensive Vietnam War epic. Stranded in Southeast Asia's dense jungle by their frustrated director, they mistake a real, heavily armed heroin-producing cartel for special effects. The clueless actors must rely on their basic prop training to survive actual, life-threatening warfare.
