Watch Now Trailer

Season 1 (24 episodes, premiering Sep 24, 2026 on iQIYI) opens with Shangguan Chengming’s family massacre and his decision to go undercover, adopting a pseudonym and seeking Jin Buhuan’s tutelage. Early episodes escalate as he crosses paths with Jiang Feiyan his wife and a Tianxiang insider forcing a tense alliance built on mutual distrust. Mid-season arcs deepen the cat-and-mouse dynamic as they lay traps using the sect’s own tricks, uncovering layers of manipulation tied to the “Child God incarnation” ritual; later installments push the pair toward a final showdown where every scheme risks backfiring, testing whether they can outsmart the deceivers without becoming what they hunt.
