The Rehearsal (2022–) is an HBO docu‑comedy created by and starring Nathan Fielder, in which he offers ordinary people the chance to “rehearse” pivotal life moments inside hyper‑realistic simulations built and staffed by his team. What begins as awkward, ethically fuzzy coaching complete with replica sets, hired actors, and scripted run‑throughs quickly escalates into an obsessive experiment about control, identity, and the limits of preparation.
