True Blood (2008 TV Series)

True Blood (correct title: True Blood) is a supernatural drama series set in the fictional town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, two years after the invention of synthetic blood (Tru Blood) that allowed vampires to “come out of the coffin” and reveal their presence to humanity. The series revolves around Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress who can read people’s thoughts, and her life-changing encounter with Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a 173-year-old vampire.
