Komi Can’t Communicate (Japanese: 古見さんは、コミュ症です。, 2021) is a romantic‑comedy school anime about Shouko Komi, the stunning, seemingly untouchable “madonna” of Itan Private High School who is actually crippled by social anxiety and a communication disorder. On their first day, ordinary student Hitohito Tadano sits beside her, realizes she isn’t cold but simply can’t speak easily, and learns her dream: to make 100 friends.
