Outer Banks (TV Series) - Season 1 - Episode 3

Season 1 (10 episodes, released April 15, 2020) introduces John B Routledge (Chase Stokes), whose father Big John vanished after pursuing a Royal Merchant shipwreck treasure. After Big John’s boat is destroyed and his home threatened, John B and his best friends JJ Maybank (Rudy Pankow), Pope Heyward (Jonathan Daviss), and Kiara Carrera (Madison Bailey) discover clues pointing to wealthy Ward Cameron (Charles Esten) as both a rival treasure hunter and Big John’s killer. John B also falls for Ward’s daughter, Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline). The season culminates in Ward killing Sheriff Peterkin to protect his secrets, John B being framed for the murder, and John B and Sarah fleeing by sea as the rest of the Pogues scramble to cover up the crime .
