Season 1 introduces Joe’s difficult role as the head of the Lioness program. She recruits Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), a tough but emotionally scarred Marine, to infiltrate the inner circle of Aaliyah Amrohi, the daughter of a powerful terrorist financier.

Cruz is placed undercover as Aaliyah’s security operative and gradually earns her trust. As the two women become emotionally close, Cruz struggles to maintain her cover while living inside a wealthy world built around privilege, influence, and hidden extremist connections.
