Reunited with her grief‑stricken mother Veronica (Rebecca Gibney), Anaís takes the lead on local cases while quietly investigating whether her family’s tragedies were truly accidents or connected to her former fiancé Luke Staunton (Charles Jazz Terrier), now married to her ex‑best friend Maja (Indiana Evans).
