Scent of Love (2022 Chinese Drama) - Season 1 - Episode 12

Across 24 episodes, the season structures its narrative as weekly supernatural-romance beats threaded through a serialized quest for the six scents. Early installments focus on Wan Niang’s pursuit of Fang Mo’s scent and the brothers’ entanglement with Lan Ze and the Ling Jing Men; middle arcs delve into past-life memories, sect rivalries, and betrayals that reframe alliances; later episodes test whether love can override ancient rules as Wan Niang’s identity teeters on exposure. The rhythm balances whimsical fantasy with emotional stakes, using scent motifs to symbolize connection and cost, culminating in a climax where survival, duty, and devotion collide.
