In 1850s Washington Territory, a devout Irish woman, Fiona Nolan, leads a "found family" of orphans and outcasts. They must defend their land from the Van Ness dynasty, a wealthy and powerful family headed by the ruthless matriarch Constance Van Ness. The resulting violent conflict over a silver-rich plot of land explores the brutal fight for survival on the lawless American frontier.
