X-Men ’97 (2024 Cartoon Series) - Season 2 - Episode 2: "A Force to Be Reckoned With"

The focus shifts to the present day of the 1990s, six months after the destruction of Asteroid M. In the wake of "E-Day" with the world believing the original X-Men are dead a militant, secret paramilitary mutant force (X-Force) emerges to aggressively fill the power vacuum left behind. The remaining heroes left at the mansion, including Jubilee and Sunspot, are forced to confront rising human intolerance and grapple with this new, aggressive faction's conflicting mutant ideology.
